Alex Denis
Alex Denis has been a working professional in the field of
Communication, Broadcasting and Motion Picture Industry for the past 20
years. His expertise as an educator in the classroom, has made him a
leader in broadcast education. As a producer and director for national
and international television shows and commercials, makes his knowledge
of pre-production, production and post production an invaluable asset
to all students. He has an extensive background in all aspects of
photography/digital art, broadcast video, film production and audio
production. As a Producer, Director and Director of Photography he has
done independent motion picture films and has had national clients such
as Disney, ABC, Hard Copy, Visa, CBN, The Limited, and Bank One just to
mention a few this has given him real-life experience that he shares
with his students.

Orlando Luna
Orlando Luna is both a film/photography creator and educator for over 15 years. He became involved in Film and Photography inspired by the art, but the inspiration has come from the phenomenal colleagues and students that he met along the way. His favorite quote is "The best augury of a man's success in his profession is that he thinks it the finest in the world." Orlando Luna is the Director of Luna Studio (est 1987), a multimedia organization in Miami, Orlando is engaged in film, video, photography and design. He has produced work for Nike, NY Times, Newsweek and MTV where his responsibilities have included Production, Direction, Screenplay, Director of Photography and Still Photography. Recently, he co-created and edited “Handstand”, a short form comedy starring Victoria Jackson.
Orlando has always partitioned time to speak at events and participate in workshops in the United States and Internationally. He has been the featured presenter in over one hundred Apple Computer sponsored events. Mr. Luna was one of the first Editors to become an Apple Certified Digital Media Professional Trainer.

Gary Crickmore
Gary has been an industry leader in the field of Still and Digital Photography for over 10 years. Gary has gained a reputation as One of the Mid-West's most trusted photographic sales and education representative and also as one of Ohio's most sought after wedding photographers. Gary's photographic style and techniques have earned him the national respect of his peers. Gary now shares his love and talent of Digital Photography, Lighting,Wedding Tips & Tricks as well as Photoshop in Workshops and classes in Columbus Ohio and On-Site throughout the world.

Luis Sierra
Luis is certified Apple trainer in Final Cut Pro 5 and he also teaches custom classes in DVD Studio Pro and in Motion. Luis attended the Macintosh Learning Center in New York City where earned a Professional Development Program certificate in Multimedia. He continued his education at an Apple Certified Training Center where he interned, became the IT/Editing Systems manager for 3 years and then became an Apple Certified Instructor for the Miami branch office. He has also worked in technical support in video editing systems for National Trade Shows such as the digital Media DC Conference in Washington, DC, the Avid Government Training Symposium in Washington ,DC , and NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) in Las Vegas NV in 2005 and 2006
At NAB 2006, Luis was a proctor for the Motion 2 certification and DVD Studio Pro 4 Certification.

Nick Sonye
Nick Joseph Sonye has been a working professional in the arts, beginning his career as a professional guitarist in the ‘60s. In 1972 Mr. Sonye moved to California to attend The College of San Mateo studying audio, film, and broadcast productions. He then went on to study music theory, composition and jazz studies at The College of Marin and City College of San Francisco. While in California Mr. Sonye worked as a performing musician, location and studio sound production and was introduced to the early years of video production.
The advent of Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI) prompted his return to college, and in 1990 he began course work at The Ohio State University and graduated with a degree in multi-media technology and policy. The 1990s became the benchmark for the beginning of personal computer technologies in the arts. Mr. Sonye was introduced to digital audio recording, digital video editing and digital graphics along with the early stages of the World Wide Web.
Currently his is involved performing with national recording acts, The Inner City Blues Band and Buckwheat Zydeco. Mr. Sonye also holds certificates in Avid Media Composer and has been involved with Logic Audio for the past 6 years

Paul Sulsky
Paul Sulsky studied film and video at Towson University. His company, Solar Software LLC creates multimedia media content for interactive web sites. He also films, writes, produces and edits short films for Paragon Productions in Baltimore, Maryland. He has worked on several independent feature films and has been a member of the Lapadula script writing group, headquartered at Johns Hopkins University, for the last three years.
He became affiliated with Avid when he purchased one of the first Xpress DV systems in May of 2000. His is now an Avid Certified Instructor and a Hewlett Packard Developer & Solution Partner. His teaching credits include The Workshops at Rockport College in Maine, Imagineering Institute in Columbus Ohio and Tampa Florida and Henninger media.

Michael Carlino
Michael Carlino is a 1995 Graduate of Ohio University, where he majored in Telecommunications Video Production and Interpersonal Communications. He got his first break into television productions when he started appearing in local television commercials at the age of 9. For the past ten years, Michael has worked for NBC television . While there, he has done everything from directing live newscasts, to commercial shoots. Presently he is one of the main Avid and Final Cut pro HD commercial editors at the station, and is well rounded in all aspects of Film, Video and Sound Production. When not working at the television station he can be found at his local church running the sound system. Not only does he have the working knowledge of the production end of the television business, but he also knows a little something about the “dollars and cents” side of the television business as well, due in part to his father being a television and media executive for the past 30 years.

Franco Sacchi
Franco Sacchi is a senior Avid Instructor and
freelance Editor/Producer. He worked for over six
years in the Department of Educational Services at
Avid Technology. While at Avid he contributed to
develop the Avid Certified Instructor Program, taught
hundreds of classes and conducted Train the Trainer
courses to certify new Avid Instructors. Clients
included ABC 20/20, NBC Dateline, Telemundo, RAI
(Italian National Public Television), and many others.
As a speaker Franco conducted seminars at NAB in Las
Vegas and at the NY DV Show. Franco is today very
active teaching and providing consulting services. He
regularly teaches at Avid Authorized Education
Centers. As a producer/writer/editor Franco
collaborates with Gallo Productions a Massachusetts
based company that produces news magazines for Italian
Television. The first independent feature length
documentary that Franco co-directed and edited will
air in may 2004 on the Sundance Channel and has been
shown at several festivals nationally and
internationally including the prestigious
International Documentary Film Festival in Amsterdam
(IDFA).

Matthew Denis
As the youngest Apple Certified Instructor (At the age of 17) in the world, Matthew's youth and creativity in independent film, video and audio production make him an asset to the Imagineering Institute team. Currently Matthew is working on an independent feature film named The Guerilla Prince.
